At first I thought he lacked basic reading comprehension skills. Then I realized it is intentional. He only reads what he wants to read and then stops. If you reply, he will come the first thing that catches his eye and the rest is just letters. Then, he won't let it go. It is Trump's fault even though the ACLU was on the same side. As was the NRA, Congress and most Americans who actually knew about the bill. Last time, Smokin was all about the "silencers," even though a supressor was not used. He is all about the talking points.

I pray for the souls of the victims. I pray that their families can find some strength and peace. I pray that people can find some common ground and actually do something instead of pointing fingers blaming Muslims or the NRA and acting like that is action.
Hahaha....I’m not disgruntled at all.
The souls of these people (Christians) will be fine without your prayers - right?
Do your (and others) prayers give them a better chance?
I just don’t get it.

I don't give a shit if you get it or not, to be honest. The power or prayer either works for you or it doesn't. If you want to be an asshole about it, what's new? In this case, the victims sure believed in it and you are spitting on their beliefs by belittling them. You can claim you aren't but it is exactly what you are doing.

You never know what one prayer (or kind thought if you want to call it that) - can do for some one who is going through a hard time.

You cant explain faith to some one who does not have it or believe in it.

I can tell you prayers were very comforting to me when I lost people I loved

Dude. Chill out.
I’m not belittling anyone.
I stated that the victims were Christians. In that faith they are fine so I posed the question (see my post- it was a question).
Now...you want to talk about being an asshole? Your response falls squarely in that category.

Harold, I own one and will tell you that for me it is because it is a more enjoyable gun to shoot (paper targets) than many of my other guns. The ergonomics are much better.
It is also less lethal than some of my other guns. Unfortunately, the newsies and politicos have made the "AR" an evil machine. It is not and as much as they spout it, it does not stand for "Assault Rifle". But, it sounds much better to fit the Gun Control lobby's narrative.

Instead of being Eyore, maybe offer some opinions on some common sense legislation?

Harold asked why anyone needs to own an AR. No private citizen "Needs" to own one. No private citizen needs to own a Cadillac...but there are choices. I explained at least why I own one. If you prefer to think I am a mass shooter, then I can't fix stupid!
