Ah, well, if that was meant for me, as well (I'm a Steve ), I might take you up on that offer! Just not sure how it may fare through the travel. Then again, stuff in checked bags is usually cold, right? (Or at least cool...)

TOFURKY in mexico

Give my a good turkey by Chef Luigi but for those looking for Torfurky, yes, it is available in some areas of Mexico. For what it is worth (maybe for next year), MR. TOFU https://www.mrtofu.com.mx/ is the only one that carries TOFURKEY in Mexico. They have stores in Guadalajara, Monterrey, CDMX (Mexico City), and Estado de Mexico (State of Mexico), according to their website.
And, if I am reading their website correctly, they do ship their products. Torfurky shipping? ....you will have to ask them.
And Happy Thanksgiving to you all (except for Canadians that already had their Thanksgiving).

By the way, I had plenty of time to research this as I am sitting at home WAITING for IZZI to show up. They messaged me that the tech would be here between 9 and 12 this morning. LOL
I just got a call saying they would be here in one hour (2pm)! We will see. Getting at DVR recorder with 518gb memory to record shows, etc.

Oh, the first thing I see at that link is Gardein products!!! That would also make my daughter happy. So I'll be checking that out — thanks! And it does say "Envíos a todo México a través de [su sitio]", so we'll see...

Good luck with Izzi.

It was. I didn't know the other person was a Steve

I don't have much experience with non-meat products, but it looks like it can be frozen and it certainly wouldn't thaw that quickly.

Good luck with Izzi.
The tech just showed up at 2:30. That's not too bad considering he was supposed to be here between 9 and 12 originally. Only thing that he forgot was the DVR box . Said that he would return.

Good luck with the Tofurkey and Mr. Tofu. Let us know how it turns out.

No room for a freezer in there Hobbes

As far as Mr. Tofu's shipping charges:
What methods are used for shipments to other states of the republic and how much does the shipment cost?
Mr. Tofu is only a home delivery facilitator for the entire Mexican Republic, Mr. Tofu is not responsible for shipments.
For shipping to other cities, the DHL service is used. Shipments will be made with the shipping method of 1-2 business days to ensure that the products arrive in good condition. We have a fixed shipping cost that is $ 249 MXN for a cooler of up to 10 kgs.
If necessary for products that need refrigeration, a special frozen gel will be included in the package, which will not have an extra cost in the package. If you require more ice, you can buy them through the following link: https://www.mrtofu.com.mx/search?q=hielos

A definition of seitan: Although it is made from wheat, seitan has little in common with flour or bread. Also called “wheat meat”, "wheat protein", “wheat gluten” or simply “gluten”, seitan becomes surprisingly similar to the look and texture of meat when cooked, making it a popular meat substitute.

Seitan is also high in protein, making it a popular protein source for vegetarians and vegans. Asian restaurants often use seitan as a vegetarian mock meat, and seitan is also the base for several commercially available products such as Tofurky deli slices and other vegetarian meat substitutes.
So...thanks to jslowrider for posting

Thanks, and same to you, Melliedee!!!

Cauliflower (especially fresh-looking cauliflower) seems hard to come by recently, around here, but I'll be adding that to the Xmas menu, at the least! Will let you know how it comes out.

Also haven't been able to find cranberries lately (Pacsadeli was out), for an apple-cranberry pie I like to make (making my mouth water right now), but I'll get a better jump on things for next month's festivities and lay in a store of all this stuff ahead of time. (Even had to check several places to find a Pyrex pie dish!)

Unfortunately it looks like Mr Tofu does not offer the Tofurky (no e!) roast we talked about above, despite having many other products in that line. However when they replied on that point, they said they do have this Gardein offering. In case it's of help to anyone.

Appreciate all the posts here and Happy Thanksgiving to everyone celebrating it today!

Update: Delmy found fresh cranberries at DAC this morning! Most were already gone from a very recent shipment, apparently, and she had to wait almost half an hour just to pay, but they were there.

Also finally found a Pyrex for pies at La Comer. Had checked both Walmarts and Soriana and Chedraui and I don't know where else, before, and found Pyrex dishes everywhere but nothing for pies...

FWIW!
