looking for Torfurkey

Any help?

It's not for me, so I don't really need the "editorializing" as to its quality (though feel free, if you're so inclined! ). It's to make my daughter happy, as she's been vegetarian for the past 2-3 years now but this is one thing that is apparently not readily available here (if it's available at all), like it is in the States. Looked around for her for meat substitute products of various types when we arrived during the summer and found relatively little, and none of that in particular. However I wonder if some places may get it in just around Thanksgiving, knowing that some expats will come looking for it?

Well thanks in advance for any suggestions!

We are plant-based and absolutely love Torfurky; especially the one with wild rice stuffing. Unfortunately, we have never been able to find it here.

If by some miracle you find some, please let us know.

Yeah that's the one we've gotten before and both our vegetarian kids like it a lot.

Sorry to hear it but thanks for the reply, and I will certainly let you know if we find any. Or maybe we'll both find out from this thread! (fingers crossed)

Yes, I'm hoping someone on the forum will know.

Here's a list of stores we checked:

Bio Natural
Bio Organics
Chedraui
DAC
Del Prado
Mega
Soriana
Walmart

The two stores I forgot to check are:
Pascsa
And that little organic store in Playacar (sorry...I've forgotten the name).

Yes...fingers crossed.

Pacsadeli is a quick walk from my house, so I just went over to check - but they're closed for today's holiday. Will check first thing tomorrow morning. Hi to K.

If you're talking about the store that was next door to the vet, it's no longer there

Here is a picture of the box (at least how it's packaged in the U.S.). Thanks beam-eye and hello!

Yes Drew, that's the one I was thinking about. I found their old Facebook page. To bad they closed.

Send a message via AIM to Dave y Stacey
Steve,

We're going to be in town Dec 7th and could find room in a suitcase. It won't be there for Thanksgiving, but maybe you could have it for Christmas.

Let me know.

Dave y Stacey,
What a gracious offer. But no need to try and mule a tofu turkey to Mexico. I always enjoy it whenever I'm in the U.S. Besides, would they let you bring food like that into Mexico?

Thanks again for the offer. It's nice to know that the members of this forum are willing to help.

Have a great Thanksgiving!
