Ocean Coral & Turquesa

I went with 2 girlfriends for a week Nov 15-22 2017 to the Ocean Coral & Turquesa in Peurto Morales. Before we went I had been in contact with front desk manager Araceli Segundo. I have to say I am so impressed with her customer service. She assigned us a wonderful room and made sure our trip was perfect. Even while there I contacted her about a dinner we couldn't attend at the Japanese restaurant and she made reservations for us again! She also reached out during our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. Unbelievable customer service from the moment we arrived. Thank you Ara. Our room was in building 7 overlooking the sea and gazebo. We had a dehumidifier in the room upon our arrival. This is well needed. We had to empty the tank about every 6-8 hrs, and it was a large unit. The room was never musty because of this. Room had plenty of closet space and hangers. The bathroom was a wierd setup with only a sheer curtain as a door. The toliet is in a separate small room with a glass door that didn't close shut. The shower also had a frosted glass door. The bathtub was not enclosed. If privacy going to bathroom is an issue, you won't like the set up.
Room was adequate and beds very comfortable.
The restaurants were nice and never had to wait. The new buffet opened a few days into our trip. It is beautiful and they should feel very proud.
The beach is just gorgeous. Soft send and hardly any sea grass. A tractor came every morning at 630am to rake any sea grass that washed up. Always chairs available and didnt see any towel games. It's true that the water is not the crystal clear water that is Playa or Maroma, but never the less it was still perfect.
The pools are sparkling clean but all were very cold. They are not heated at all. The sea was warmer!
Entertainment team was great especially Mr. Mexico city and the young kiddo with braces. (I'm sorry i forget their names. Everyday at 3pm there is always fun times at the pool sure the pool bar is. Foam party on Wednesday's, a reggae band on Sundays etc. Everyday something different, but very fun.
The lobby atmosphere at night was very laid back and casual. There were singers every night and they were awesome. Lobby bar drinks were the best on resort.
Every night after the show, the pool bar is where everyone goes. There is a dj and lots of fun and dancing. It is VERY loud though, with sat night being the loudest when an outside so comes in. Even with my patio door closed and ear plugs in I could still hear the base and loud music. They don't shut down until almost 1am. This might be problematic for families with young children. I really couldn't believe how loud it was. They really need a disco or another place that's not right out in the open in the middle of the resort, for the late party.
I really liked this resort and would return again. The service was outstanding.
