Here in Minnesota we call your "Bomb Cyclone" a period of snow flurries with slightly colder temperatures!

I grew up a mile from Minnehaha Falls. As kids we visited often to crawl behind the frozen cascade. They cut away the natural shelf (for our safety ) but we always figured out a way
to see the world through the ice.

Now they post police to keep people safe, but they still figure out ways to be kids again. If we have a cool spring the ice stays until May!

I now live about four miles away from "the Falls" but, we have to stop often to see this natural beauty. Just a few yards upstream from stands a statue of Hiawatha and Minnehaha
commemorating Longfellow's 'Song of Hiawatha'.

Cyclone bomb.

Just what the world needs, more sensationalism.

What, people won't buy media if it's called what it really is? A nor'easter?

Media sickens me. I've tuned it out.

God is just punishing those arrogant conservatives.

Forget politics—weather is now dividing America into red and blue states

The East Coast of the US has been plunged into a deep freeze. Waterfalls are icing over, sharkicles are washing ashore, and frozen iguanas are…

Sharkicles, I like that.

70 here. Still no rain. None this season. Nada. The reason for the wild fires. 2.24" of rain expected tomorrow, that's insane for here. Climate change is a reality.

Guys have been ice fishing all weekend. My brother left early, so I just helped haul that damn shanty off the ice, unto the snowy dock, and through the yard to the garage in the dark. Sleet and more snow tonight here in Pure Michigan, so I'm glad we got it in before morning. I thought this might mean we could leave early, but the crazy man I've agreed to marry said he'd still fish at dawn without the shanty. I only like to hang out on the ice when the heater's on and there are those little padded bucket seats and booze.

Does anyone really doubt that? I mean, the Ice Age kind of proved that point.

I refuse to watch that. My MIL had a saying when she didn't like something..."I wouldn't pitch sh$t at (name your poison)"

Well I wouldn't pitch sh$t at the Golden Globes!

But from what I hear Oprah is going to be our next President
