July Weather Question

We have always spent time in Playa the last week of December up until the first week of February. It is slightly too cold for us to be in the water sometimes. But we love the weather. It is perfect for other activities. We were thinking about trying late July this summer. We have never been any other time. How is July? I know it will be hotter and humid but it is bearable? We like 85 degrees but worried about the humidity. We were hoping with it being a little warmer we would want to do more water activities but worried it will be just too hot and humid. We are more sensitive to weather as we get older. Lol. Thank you.

This site has comprehensive weather stats

I would think about after Easter and before mid-May, but review the weather data (remember that these are averages) and then look at your schedule with that in mind.

Not for us. We live here. We have a pool and a nearby sea
And no...July is the beginning of the second high season. Plenty of people out and about.
Oh...and the pools aren’t cold.

Thank you. Sounds hot but bearable. I just want it warm enough to do the tourist stuff like swim in the cenotes, Xcaret, the caves and the beach. We did that years ago but it had been too cold for us the last five or six years when we are there the first of January. I want to do a water trip.

it's hot and humid but not unbearable. Good pool and sea weather. The first two weeks of July would be the best as second high season starts when schools let out in mid July.

July is one of my favorite months in Playa. But...I love the hot weather. Being from AZ it’s still cooler in Playa than in AZ.

The beach in the summer is great. The water is smooth, warm and clear. Great for diving and snorkeling.

If it rains it’s usually only for a few minutes then the sun comes out again. 5th is hot and sweaty so to me it feels more tropical....

I also love Playa from Aug-June...
