Taxi cost

Looking for approximate taxi cost from ADO Playa to TAO Akumal. Or should we just get airport transfer? First week TAO then to hotel zone in Tulum returning to airport from there was going to do a one way. Thanks

I would guess it will end up being between 500 and 1000. If your luggage is manageable, you may save a bit by walking up to 15th and getting a taxi there rather than at the ADO station.

Not sure if the ADO buses from Cancun Centro or Playa to Tulum would stop in Akumal. Definitely collectivos would.

Personally, for a vacation I'd just do the transfer from the airport to save time.

I think you'd save a substantial amount by walking up to 15th. When exiting the ADO station, and we were headed North, we ALWAYS walked up to 10th, and saved 50%.

No, the ADO doesn't stop in Akumal.

If, for whatever reason, renting a car is not an option, I'm with DrewJones, and would take a transfer, saving time and hassle.
