I've never been one to adhere to rules, and as the youngest of 6 children, I pretty much did my own thing. This is a story that's been told again and again by my mother. We were living in Hawaii. I was 2 yrs old. The whole family had gone to see the Aloha day parade. My sister, who was 10 took me to the bathroom. I went, then she went. Evidently not wanting to wait for her and ready to get back to the parade, I crawled under the bathroom door and went back out to watch the parade. Frantic, my parents, 4 brothers ages 7 - 12 and my sister searched for me for the next hour. The parade route had a canal on one side and the Pacific Ocean on the other. They finally found me sitting on a curb, watching the parade, oblivious to the fact that they'd searched for me for an hour.

Thinking about it, it kinda reminds me of Kevin searching for me in the customs line at the airport
