I gave my dogs, Jewel and Luke, away today. I really didn't think it would be this hard!!!
I was ok all through taking them to the vet for their check-ups and shots, and to indroduce the new owner to the doctor, and all that... and then we took them to her house but when it was time to leave..... and they just look at you like that, you know?? I was crying my eyes out before I even made it home - four houses down!! And I know I had to do it, there is no way we could take them with us to Mexico. They're border collies, they're hyper, they need lots of room to run and LOTS of attention.. and they will get all this at their new home. And I know they are going to a good home!! But still....
