Traveling to Laguna Bacalar
If you are venturing south past the international zone to Bacalar and Chetumal do avoid "Over Blue" a restaurant and bicycleboat rental place on the Costera road. They are very anti-foreigners with Gringos topping the list. Two doors away at 169 Costera is another little restaurant called, I think; Casa de la Laguna which is much better. Boats can be rented at the Club Vela or the Hotelito Amigos. You might also enjoy my personal blog on the life of an expatriate in Bacalar at: http://www.homepage.mac.com/donfrancisco864/Menu6.html. No night life, no action. Beautiful views, good swimming.

Howard, Thanks for sharing your web site with us. Nice site. Loved the photos. Haven't had a chance to read your entire blog, however, I liked what I read so far. I also enjoyed viewing your wife's artwork. Loved the feeling of freedom displayed in her work and her sense of color is wonderful. Thanks again.

Visiting Bacalar
Thank you for the kind comments and I enjoyed your .Mac PhotoAlbum page from visits to Playa del Carmen. I also like your screen name of Forum Goddess. Impressive. I made some mistake registering and havent figured out how to change one of my usual screen names.
