I use about 3 lemons (cut in half) for a pound/pound and a half of wings. When you first put the wings on the BBQ, squeeze lemon on them and sprinkle some salt (I use kosher salt). Let them cook for a while, flip 'em and repeat. Towards the end you won't want to add any more salt. It takes alot more salt than you would think though. I usually pour the salt in a small bowl and do the "pinch and sprinkle thing" (maybe 4 or 5 tablespoons).
