Actually I lived in "Jersey" twice....once at a very young age then again in my early 20's !!!

(Ramsey) - actaully parents lived there !!!!

Shammy, girl you are too funny! My mom's from Joisey and my grandfather's family settled there in the early 1800s so still have lots of relatives living there. So even though I grew up in CT, I spent a lot of time in Joisey. You're post brought back lots of fond family memories. Thanks!

What do you use bacon grease for ??

I have see some people add it to green beans or other beans when they are "cooking them down" !!!
