Warning! Nerak936 has uploaded photos!!

This is a very proud moment for me. Although I can type up a storm and whiz around Word pretty smoothly, when it comes to CD's and photos and uploading and downloading and and sideloading anything else that requires more than a half dozen functioning brain cells and is computer-related, my mind freezes solid.

This morning my mind thawed a bit, and I jumped on the opportunity to attempt to transfer photos off a CD and upload them here.

Still can't believe I did it.....

Be forewarned, however. There will be more to come!!!!! :p

Now I'm off to do the happy dance in the driveway and plant lots of marigolds in the sunshine......

Cufffed & Tappy:

Thanks, guys!! I was just so tickled this morning that I did it! I get so intimidated by the whole computer thing sometimes..... :o

I just added a couple of photos of my Tiggy and my dearly departed Gizmo, my first born. I have a couple of CD's from last year that I haven't been able to upload (until TODAY!!) which might have one of Eli, my two-year old hell-raiser. I'll get one of him on there too sometime soon (just to be fair). But not to worry, my fellow PlayaInfo addicts.... I won't turn my Gallery into a "cat" thing!

But I feel I a bit justified, given my avatar ......... can't say you're surprised, can you?

Yadda:

Click on MultiMedia on the blue bar above. It has the member gallerys and also a submit photos section.

I'm gonna upload some more in a few minutes.

Neat pics Karen !!! Love them all !!!

How do they get you up/down in the parasail ??? Often wonder about that, do you get dumped in the water on the way back down or up ??????

The buffett pics looked good, so the food is good there ??? Lots of variety ????

Yadda:

See the dark blue line with "User CP", "FAQ", "MultiMedia" on it right below the name of the forum/thread you are currently?? Click on Multimedia and you'll get a dropdown. On the dropdown, click on Submit Photos (or Member Galleries, if you want to view people's photos). In the Submit Photos section, you click on the "Browse" buttons and then you find your photos and doubleclick them and they'll load in. Then just follow the prompts to get them titled and into the Gallery.

Good luck!!

The floaties we bought at one of the lobby shops at the resort last year - about $12 each. If you do this, bring them to the Dive Shop and ask them to inflate them for you (just give the guy a tip, like 20 pesos per is what I think we did). Although it is rather fun watching David turn blue as he blows them up.......

The insulted cups are from our Kukoo Kanookoo Bus trip in Aruba back in 2001. A great souvenir! :p :p

Sorry, Tappy..... almost missed your questions here....

The parasail experience is a blast. They suit you up in the sling harness and when the parasail is ready for you (after they unhook the last parasailor), you simply go up on the platform at the rear of the boat, they hook you up, and off you go!! No, they didn't dip me in the sea either going up or coming down. I think the crew makes sure that you WANT that before doing it, or else they'd scare the hell outta you!! I didn't bring it up, and they didn't ask.

We were both very happy with the buffet food. There was always something being cut fresh, be it roast beef, or roast duck, or turkey or chicken.... and then the show cooking - different things every night. I can't even remember what some of it was.

There's just so much food available, I find it hard to believe that people sometimes complain. Sure, there are always hamburgers and french fries available....I know there are some kids who will eat nothing else but! But the assortment and variety of food and the desserts!!! were more than sufficient for David and me.

We actually prefer the buffet over the specialty restaurants.......
