Hmmmm....is this a trick question?
Well, at 1,600+ rooms, the Bahia Principe may very well be the biggest in the Mayan Riviera. Wait, I forgot...the Moon Palace has over 2,000 rooms and the Adventura Spa Palace has over 1,200! As for Cancun, I lost track of room counts there YEARS ago! |

My family stayed at the Palladium in May and really enjoyed it. We were told then by staff, that it was the biggest resort there. I thought a little to big for a wedding with older people coming. They had no trams or carts to help older or handicap people around. Bahia Principe said they could accomodate those needs. But any way it has just become a question to a few of us here, whose other children decided they want to get married in Mexico. The kids want to know what the biggest resort is so they don't run into there guests the whole week of their weddings. I guess thats what you get when you combine a wedding and a honeymoon.

Oooh okay, I understand! Yeah, Bahia Principe is really big, especially when you combine BP Tulum and BP Akumal! They have the carts that are always running so that would be perfect for people with lesser mobility. Maybe the guests could stay in one side, and the honeymooning couple in the other? :P
That is a good question though, I wonder which one is the biggest... |

Thanks again for the replies. Every bit of info helps. There will now be three weddings (including my daughters) in the Mayan Riviera next year that we will be attending. We booked the Bahia Principe about 2 months ago, but now since we were in Mexico, the other mothers think I should have all the answers. I wish I did. But am trying to help as much as I can.

hey no problem!! if you look around this site there's tonz of info on Bahia Principe! If you're trying to contact them, we have found that they won't really reply unless you make a complaint. So say something like, "i have sent you messages many times and have not recieved a reply back." that got me a reply within the next two days!
