Turtles and crabs

Maybe it's not the right time to ask this with all this downpour but I was wondering if the turtle have started to lay their eggs in the beach in Akumal?

On the topic of rain, this reminds of my last trip to Cuba. They had continuous rain the week before my arrival (Pfiuuu...). The ground were saturated with water which pushed the crabs out of their holes. You could find those critters all over the place (rooms, pools, restaurants, name it...). The kids loved it.
