Would like to hire a small boat & driver for an afternoon to go up & down the coastline....hugging the coast.....we want to enjoy the views from the water side....
Time frame will be any sunny day in Jan. '05....

How about those people on the forum that live in Playadise......does anyone know how to go about hiring a small boat & driver for an afternoon.......realize this is an early request as unfortunately we won't be in PDC until Jan.'05 but want to know if this would be possible.

Hi again

I noticed no one has replied to this yet. When I have more time,I'll try to do some more research. My significant other is getting certified for diving,so I know we will be going out in boats several times while there. Also plan to dive at cozumel at least once. There are plenty of boats,so I am sure this is possible. Where do you plan to stay? We will be there Jan15th-25th2005 at the Riviera del Sol.....Gail

the answer is the same as for posts about hiring a fishing boat. you walk the shore where the boats are in the morning and you ask around.

Thanks for the info James & Softy57....we know there are lots of small boats walking North on the beach.....we were trying to find our secret beaches that we used to go to in the late 80's but guess with "progress" they are now developed & aren't secret anymore!!! Thought we would get a better view from the Sea.

Softy57....we are staying at the Riviera del Sol from Jan 6 to Jan 28.....hope to meet you then.

We can certainly help you out with this, no problem. When you're getting closer in time and ready to plan your vacation, just send in a request through our fishing page, or send us a mail or a PM to James or Anna.

I was real excited about the answers to this question...but no one is really replying..If MrSY is like me...I want a reservation with a nice boat...I was going to hire out TANKHA.COM but I saw some of the pictures and the boats look like Lancha's - small fishing boats. They are charging me $35 for up to 10 people - good price.

Does anyone know who has got the best boats? Is it covered? Do the provide lunch?I want to snorkel from noon to sundown and I want to stay on the boat until after sundown to watch the sunset. We are a party of 10 people...

There has got to be a better answer than go to the beach and ask around...by the way how much do they charge when you ask around?
