Only in Louisiana

South Louisiana has always been known for its excellent food and restaurants, and seafood dishes.

I am sure some of you may have heard of the Turducken (a Thanksgiving Treat) = A Turkey stuffed with a duck stuffed with a chicken.

Of course Alligators are cooked into small bites (fried alligator - taste just like chicken, yeah right, don't fall for that one).

And the ever popular turtle soup or turtle couballion. (yes crazy cajuns will cook anything !!!)
ps I am not one of them !!!!

I cant figure out what this treat will be called how ever !!!

Sorry, can't quite make it out. Is that a turtle in the embrace of the 'gator? If so, I will refrain from going into Louisiana mating jokes as they have been covered by Bumper and Shammy.

Sorta' harkens back to those T-shirts you used to see, showing a couple of pigs e-r-r-r..."romantically involved" and emblazoned with the words "Makin' Bacon"

This would be what?...Makin Luggage?? Have to say I don't know much about alligators. Is this one smiling?

I thought this sort of activity between cousins was pretty much restricted to Arkansas?

Now that's twice lately I've been accused of being predictable, BW. I guess I really am going to go for a lower profile for a while. By the way, if a turtle loses its shell...is it naked or homeless? H-m-m-m?

Not predictable - just the most read poster on the board.

Actually I was refering to your "Rules of the South" thread. - Guess you've forgotten that already???

Now if you post a self-deprecating quip about losing your memory - THAT will be predictable!
