Only in Louisiana
South Louisiana has always been known for its excellent food and restaurants, and seafood dishes.
I am sure some of you may have heard of the Turducken (a Thanksgiving Treat) = A Turkey stuffed with a duck stuffed with a chicken. Of course Alligators are cooked into small bites (fried alligator - taste just like chicken, yeah right, don't fall for that one). And the ever popular turtle soup or turtle couballion. (yes crazy cajuns will cook anything !!!) ps I am not one of them !!!! I cant figure out what this treat will be called how ever !!! |
