Looks like fun, so it must be what 285-300 miles from Houston if it only takes 2 hrs and 45 minutes......

Hey!!!!! Who put Tommy in charge... guess that means he's buyin ALL the booze.

As far as location, we have the touristy Guadalupe, the "lets go scope some young college girls in bikinis" San Marcos River. AND we have exclusive access to one of the best tube chutes on the private Blanco River... thanks to Mom & Dad's 5 acres riverfront property North of Wimberely.

Recent 10"-12" rainfall in San Marcos means the river here will be flowing good for at least 8 more weeks. Canyon Lake is full, guaranteeing good tubin thru the summer. But the flow on the Blanco will be questionable if the rain stops in July.

got work to do , more info later.

Would love to, but if I go to Texas it means I have to visit with all the relatives again, most of which I have seen once in the last 40 years (2000 when I went to the family golf tournament in San Antonio).

so i see Tommy has taken over the toobin thing here. which i think Scott needs to be in charge of considering he lives there and probally knows what's up with al the rivers around and his parents have river front property! although we will help you out if you need us too! Besides Scott and Lil G live there and are in the know!

A must do!

For any one that has not experienced tubbing down the Guadalupe River...it is one the most relaxing day of fun you can have and not be in PDC!

Just imagine the hot Texas Sun, the cool crisp water on your bum to keep you cool as your legs and arms dangle off the sides of your tube, all your com padres consuming beer and such from the multiple coolers floating in their own beer tubes along side you......

The current will do all the work, you just sit back enjoy the company and a good 4 to 6 hr ride with good people!

Let me know dates...we would love to make the trip.

Now Donna you know how things git back to your kin folk.

Especially when there are as many as in my family. Just the one's that play golf fill a course when they have their yearly tournament. If fact they have Substitutes that show up hoping a team doesn't make it in time for the start.

Way to risky.

Count me in for this one! Too bad there's not a Tequila Barrel along the river - or sctx & LilG, are you renaming your spread for the occasion?
