Tipping at Secrets Capri

Hey everyone!

Vikki and Chris here! We are getting so ooo ooo excited to leave for our honeymoon to secrets on sunday!! Quick question though-how much do people tip? And do you tip in american dollars or pseos? Does tipping really change the service? Is it expected? I've read a few reports saying that it makes a huge difference and some that say the staff don't expect it. What do ya think?

We tipped in American dollars, and did so not to get better service but they all worked very hard. You will love the resort. We know we will return to Secrets Capri or the new upcoming Secrets Excellence probably next year. We have been to other AI's in the past (not in Mexico, however) and enjoyed this one the most. We are heading back to Mexico and visiting the Palladium with our son in 2 weeks. It will be interesting to compare the family resorts to the adults only. You made the right choice choosing an adult's only for your honeymoon. Congratulations!!!!
