Question Re: Thread Titles - Bold and Not Bold

The Kitty (<------) has a question which has been delegated to me for submission. I guess she's just too relaxed to pull her fuzzy butt out of that hammock today.

The thread titles as they appear..... what are the parameters for a thread being in bold print or regular print???

The Kitty has tried to figure this out during the past couple of months but can't seem to decipher a pattern. Is it time since last post? Is it number of posts? It doesn't seem to be whether it's been viewed or not by me (I mean, Kitty).

You know about the curiousity factor as far as cats are concerned. Could be deadly. So please help Kitty solve this. She's really stressed. Just has a knack for not letting it show.

Purrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Thread titles that appear in bold print are threads that you haven't read or have new posts. Those that are not in bold print are threads that you've read. This is assuming that you have your computer set up to accept cookies from this site.

On my computer as long as I am still active on the forum and do not end my session by logging off or closing the window, this is the case. However, once I am inactive for a long period of time, log off or close the window, the next time I return to the site all messages that were on the forum during my previous session appear in regular print as if they have been read (even if they haven't) or have no new posts. While only threads or posts submitted after my last visit (session) appear in bold print.

Brain itching is good. It causes one to expand their horizons and explore new worlds.

Sometimes I use a pencil to scratch it and lose the pencil.

But I find if I tilt my head and hop on one foot for a couple of minutes, the pencil will come out the other ear. :p

Ah, yes...but does it come out sharpened? And that would make that gray matter, what?? Graphite? And here I thought working things out with a pencil was something that only constipated accountants did? BA-DUM-BUM!!
