Has anyone ever rented a car from Viva Maya?

Our family of 6 would like to rent a car for the day, and drive down to Tulum and Coba, and do a couple of cenotes and some resteraunts along the way.
Has anyone rented a car from the Hertz car rental desk at the Viva Maya? Also, where did you go? DO you have any suggestions?

You may want to make your reservation through Hertz on the internet in advance with VM as your pick up point.
As to where to go? Get the mapchick map (mapchick.com) and pick out a few nice places on the coast.
