Male traveling alone seeking...
...FEMALE company for occasional snorkel trips, sightseeing tours, excursions with rental car, ETC.
I'll be in PDC July 13 through 20. I'm a 53 YO American from Colorado. I promise I'm not too hard on the eyes. PM me. (I know the last guy that posted an "ETC" on here got blasted with jokes. Hey, I'm ready...bring it on! I can swap humor with the best of 'em.) |

Don't worry. I'm cool with it...I just wasn't sure if you were making fun of me or not. Since English isn't my mother tongue I tend to misunderstand people sometimes (and vice versa) especially when I can't see their facial play.
Friends again? I think we should some day...Connie |

Thank you
Connie, I thank you for being so understanding. I'd love to pay for a lunch or a dinner to make up for it. I'm staying at the Playa-Maya, the name is Jerry Rhodes, call if I can entertain you for a short time. I'm old enough to be your father, so nothing more is appropriate.

What a great idea...
...being one of the girls! Why didn't I think of that? How 'bout a slumber party to start with. I can hardly wait until "we girls" go to powder our noses.
So, Sport, you're a computer geek from Mississippi. Guess what my birth state is. I'll give you a clue: Tishamingo county. |

I don't think women "powder their noses" like they used to. Connie, have you ever heard that phrase before? Hey, a Hen Party in Playa sounds like alot of fun to me! |

It's not ...
...Iuka, it's Ukee...
Proceeding south along highway 25, there's Iuka, Parish's Midway grocery, Tishamingo, Dennis, then Belmont. Dennis is where I'm told I was hatched. I left there when I was 2 because I wanted to be near my mother when she left the state. That state park you reference was within a couple miles of my granny's house, which was separated from the Freedom Hills (bootlegger's haven) by cotton fields. Hen party, slumber party, whatever...count me in!! I'll wear my PJ's with the footies and the trap door behind. |

Hey Jerry, I'm going to probably be in trouble just for checking on this thread by hubby but just couldn't resist! We will be at Playa-Maya July 11-18 (hubby and I along with my 20 yr old daughter and 16 yr old son) We'll have to get together for a drink or something. We will be celebrating our 1 year wedding anniversary on the 12th so you're welcome to a piece of 1 yr old cake I'll be bringing along...lol. We are in our mid 40's. Hope to see ya there!

First of all Jerry needs to be thanked for being such a selfless gentleman who wants to take out a deeply hurt and lonesome girl for dinner
You could be the next Robin Hood... Just kidding. It is a very nice gesture and I appreciate your offer. Dinner is maybe a bit much :o but as I said we could hook up for a drink or something... ![]() And concerning "powdering our noses" I must admit I have thought of using this term once in a restaurant hoping to make a big impression on the guy I was with but luckily decided not to say it out loud. I was about 16 and would have made a big fool of myself...But with you guys I would make an exception and powder my nose...especially if Jerry was a honorary hen
