Games
Thinking about those wooden hotels & houses in old Monopoly games brought back so many memories. I am a proud owner of a Risk game with the original wooden "armies" from the 70's I think. We used to get together with friends & play board games. The one my gr. son has is so cheap in comparison, tiny little army things of plastic,& God forbid you drop one & step on it barefoot!Oww.
Bumpa, please stop talking like you're ancient, you are 3 yrs. younger than I,& I am middle-aged.lol Critter, you're a leaf peeper? Or at least hang with some, huh?Well be sure to let me know if you're in my area,I would love to meet playainfo peeps, anywhere,& I still serve dinner at lunch time & supper in the evening! We live on the N.H. line on the coast. I'm about 1 mi. from beach. My son has a shellfish business,so we usually have some steamer clams around, if you like'em. I don't.lol. See enough at work. Love this off topic forum, hope the sun is shinin on you.....Gail ![]() |

A Dubonnet on the rocks c/w a lemon twist to start, followed by a '99 Quail's Gate Okanagan Allison Ranch Unoaked Chardonnay with the salad, a 2001 Finca Flichman Mendoza Argentinian Syrah with the steak. Finish with some water biscuits, a bit of aged Cheshire and a small beaker of the 2002 Hildebrandt Estates Late Harvest Riesling. Put some Lee Ritnour discs on the player, and top it all off with a snifter of Remy Martin Cognac, while thinking about the Napolean Belvedere Candella I would have enjoyed at this point of the evening, in my cigar smoking days. Now, you just find me some young pup who has been around long enough to appreciate that agenda! Life is good, Gail. By the way, you should be cautious about your offer to meet up with us forum folk. You might just get called on it some day. Mrs. B and I have travelled most of the US, with the exception of New England, and we're determined to remedy that at some point, so you might just get some visitors some autumn day. I understand it's beautiful in that part of the world at that time of year. Time to get the Lawn Whomper going. TTFN |
