Despite rereading the dumb thread (not this one, the other one) at Critter's prompting. I still cannot figure out why it was started. And do explain how you figured out the real author. I did figure it out, but the clues made that a very simple exercise in deductive reasoning.

If you have ever delt with a multy Id situation you will understand this..as in Donna and I share the same computer at home....I log on post for a while and then if I click on Privat Messages it will automaticly take me to greek2me's message box....If you dont pay attention when you go back to forum you are still logged under the other ID...This has happened to me several times as well as Donna hense her posting under my ID....He had sent me a PM and at the end of his message he wrote Thanks Streckman but the Message was from Iberobunny...Busted...I then forwarded the message to Scott and someone else that I dont remember....the message was about the thread and how funny it was to see how people made a big deal out of it...although I cant tell you exactly why he did it Im sure as he logs back on in a month or so as he does he might fess up...my opinion is that it was simply for fun...Way before the Off Topic forum so sometimes things needed to be juiced up a bit..This was fun to play around with...I think that I was way to easy on the poll choices and the clues that were givin....If I could redo it it would be much harder...

I did not get anything out of the original message string. I was convinced it was some guy making the posts, but I could not figure out why and I left it at that. I got a lot more out of this thread. The clues did make it easy. But I think the skill level required was about right, and I enjoyed the thread.

Did anyone other than Tommy figure out the author with any degree of certainty before this thread started?
