My husband and I just booked our first trip to Playa Del Carmen for October 8-15. We are so excited and thank all of those who assisted us in our decision to stay at the Aventura Spa Palace. Just love these forums!!

I really don't want to bring my laptop on vacation as I'm not sure how safe it is to leave in the room when we are out doing our thing, however, would like to stay in touch with the kids, friends, etc. using a computer. Is there a business center/computer room equipped with computers which we could use at the resort?

Can anyone tell us what the weather is like in October?

Hi,

Yes there is Internet access @ ASP....and from what I remember from last year it's 5 bucks and hour - billed to your room if you wish.

But the connection was ssllooww....I think they are only using dialup....but for email it was fine.

By the way...

We arrive at ASP Oct 3rd till Oct 10 ( 10 year anniversary ) - then off to Secrets for 1 week.

Maybe we'll see ya there! Look for the Toronto Maples Baseball cap at the swim up bar on the Aventura side!

The weather in October ( for us over the last 2 years ) has been fine! HOT HOT HOT sometimes with a small afternoon shower ( 10 - 20 mins ).
