While I appreciate your point of view I think that if one reads what the founding fathers had in mind it would have little to do with the neo-con reality in practice. You mean an "all encompassing state" that tortures people, that takes away peoples basic human rights and listens in on their telephone calls or watches their phone records? A state in which the executive is certain that laws do not apply to him? Give me liberty.
