Which resorts have most toplessness

My wife and I are planning a vacation to PDC/Playacar this winter. She is planning on sunbathing topless both at the pool and beach and she would feel more comfortable tanning topless where it's very common.

My question is: Which are some resorts in PDC/Playacar where they have the most topless sunbathing?

thanks,

I can't say for sure, but the beaches of the RIU properties are very much topless...they are a very popular choice for European vacationers, hence the degree of toplessness...Quite chic actually...

from my experience topless is 50/50 at the beach and very rare around the pools. YMMV.

At the IB* Tucan, there were quite a few topless women on the beach. I would probably say about 10 in eyesight from where we were sitting. But, going topless around the pool was "not allowed" because of the kids, etc. Some people did this anyway, and I thought it was kind of disrespectful... since there were more kids around the pool than on the beach.

And cuffedlinks would know, you just have to look at his pictues.
Hey CL we just booked the Riu Palace again, Nov 28 - Dec 12. Think we'll try to get your room. Could you hear the fountains from there? We loved the sound of them coming on in the morning. It was our alarm clock.

Unless you were fortunate to get a jacuzzi suite - you couldn't get a better room than ours was for view (and angle of view) and everything else...just loved it...

Did I post the room number somewhere?

Right 2047- 00 is first floor....10 is second floor and 20 is third floor...
You could direct them to the picture on webshots that shows the view(s)...

You could have PM'd me...think I still have that white Riu sticky with the room number on a piece or two of luggage...

It is the set of rooms furthest from the lobby, facing Cozumel and thre beach...not a bad walk to the restaurants or anything and given the view...worth it.

Good luck - HOPE you get it or one in that wing with the third floor elevation for the view!!

Think we're hitting the El Dorado Royale for our 25th...We were mentioning looking at it, when it was given to us as a 25th gift before we could make our own reservations...REALLY looking forward to the EDR...
(MIGHT even make a side trip to one of their other properties for the day to work on evening out those tan lines from our stay's previous beach outings... )

Cuffedlinks,
The EDR has a day pass to their hidden beach which includes lunch and drinks for about 60.00 per person. If I remember correctly I saw the info on their website.

Congrats on your 25th, now-a-days that's quite the achievement.

Actually,
I've already made inquiries...and received a message back from the folks at HBR as well as EDR - my only thought then would be how I want to get to HBR from EDR...
Which day would depend on the weather, etc...

BTW Cathy, are you speaking from experience or just happened upon the info somewhere?

Actually, in terms of transportation, we were pondering the very same thing.....

The Hubby and I will also be cebrating an anniversary at EDR. We are there from Oct 30th till Nov. 6th. If our dates are compatable perhaps we can share a ride.

BTW, Cuff, one would think the gentleman would at least offer to buy the lady a drink, before requesting tales of past adventures..... :p ....oh wait....silly me....we're at an AI...the drinks are free.... ...stories might be too....if we've had a few to many...

Hidden Beach is a clothing optional resort that is located beside the EDR and both are owned by the karisma chain. So guests of the EDR can purchase a day pass to visit Hidden Beach if they are interested. I think is runs about 60.00 pp (includes food & drinks)but may have changed.

All the info you need will be available at the EDR when you get there.....don't forget your sunscreen and mirror shades
