a large commerical jet just went by and I didn't hear it. City noises don't bother me. When I lived in Boston I was about a block or two from a hospital. Every 5 to 10 minutes an ambulance went by with lights and siren on. There was also the subway. A VERY tight curve was right across the street from the building. Even though the tracks are underground, you could still hear the trains sccrrrrrrrrreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeech as they went around the curve.
We were looking at houses near one of the general aviation airports here in Atlanta, but that neighborhood was not on the top of the list.
I think I've said that we're working on the JWA expansion. We were reading about the noise ordinance in place for the airport. It's ridiculous! Basically any flight that comes in after i think 10pm either gets diverted to LAX or gets a $10,000 fine!
