The bypass does not affect my property as I am deep in the development. If you look at the map, we are above and to the left of Tohoku Park in a lot of about 1,000 square meters. It will be nice though if the small businesses Ted envisions develop along the new highway as we will be able to walk or ride bikes to them. We could actually ride bikes to Playa on back roads. I would say we are about 3 kilometers from the northernmost light in Playa and maybe 2 kilometers inland from the North south highway. Technically we are inside PDC city limits. We plan on staying at Sacbe this year Jan. through about May and then will probably migrate to higher, and cooler quarters in San Miguelle de Allende or Oaxzaca. Return to Playa in July (our son is getting married there in July) and then head back to Greenbelt for a few months. Normally we'll be in Playa November through May and in the states most of the rest of the time. But everything is flexible. If you're in the area in March feel free to contact me and we'll show you around. Might be best to write before you leave for Playa though as we only check email about once a week in town when we're there. If you are seriously thinking of buying a lot it would be better to talk to Ted as well.
