Every war we have ever been in has had pro war people and anti war people. People on each side of the line within our own country. Why is it that this one draws so much attention to it. is it because of the popular ideas about vietnam. Even with that war im sure at the beggining there were people supporting it because people were afraid of communism. Over the years that it lasted ideas changed. It lasted about 20 years. thats a long war in our terms. People who were not alive at the start of the "war" began to protest things as they grew up. That doesnt mean that they represented the popular belief at that time. Vietnam followed Korea, Korea right on the coat tails of WWII. The beliefs of the people then were in a different mind set.
