Getting to PDC with Pets

So I have just been told that Cancun airport will not allow you to fly in with your pets. So what I'm wondering is, how can myself, my girlfriend and our bundle of fur all arrive in PDC? A small grey cat thanks you for your help.

Hmmm... that's odd. All my snowbird neighbors fly in and out of Cancun with their little arf-arf dogs all the time. You'd be flying with the cat as a carry-on, right?

Where did you hear this, and is it supposedly a new thing? What was the reasoning behind it?

Many people fly in with pets. However, many airlines do not accept animals during the hot summer months, due to the drastic temperature changes in the cargo area and here in the tropics. Perhaps that won't apply to smaller animals that you can carry onboard. I belive different airlines have different rules, and I don't think it has anything to do Cancun airport, but I can be wrong. Anyway, keep investigating and let us know what you find out.
