Oh man, Michael and I had lunch here yesterday with Keith, who was celebrating his birthday. It was fantastic! Michael had comida corrida, which started with a bowl of homemade vegetable/chicken soup that was so good I immediately ordered a bowl for myself. He then had pollo a la Mexicana (chicken leg/thigh on the bone with tomatoes, onion, and peppers) with rice/beans and I had milanesa de puerco (thinly pounded, lightly breaded pork) with rice/salad. They also had three bowls of different homemade salsas on the table. My favorite was made from tomatillos, garlic, and chiles de arbol. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. Of course, we had soft drinks and tortillas. Michael's comida corrida was 40 pesos (includes soup, fresh fruit water, and the entree/tortillas) and mine was, uh, I think 50 pesos with the extra bowl of soup.

You cannot go wrong here.
