Probably both....
Don't be sad. She dealt with her illness in her own way-under her control. She felt safe in her house. She was 84 years old--an x-WWII nurse.
I never once talked to her. The only person she talked to, moved yesterday. He would come and tell the neighborhood how much Dixie enjoyed the party, etc. She knew all of our names and would ask about all of us

She was happy in her own world. We were relieved to hear that she passed quietly in her sleep-no pain.
