In 2000 we had trouble finding transportation to playa. We were the only folks going to Playa at that time. No van would go with only two people. We ended up paying $50 for a taxi. When he got to Playa (It was the Yucatan Road Race with the radio blaring at 120 decibels) we spent 30 minutes circling the town looking for the Plaza Hotel. Finally we directed him even though we had never been to playa before.
We would like to come back this Winter and wonder if there are better options.
What would it cost for a taxi to go to the bus terminal in Cancun and then take a bus to Playa?
