I apologize for being so off topic, but I've entered a painting in a competition at saatchi-gallery.co.uk and need as many 10 star votes as I can to stay in the running. It may be a bit of a pipe dream... Jessie and I couldn't afford a trip to Playa last year, but if I manage to actually win it'll mean a couple of tickets to paradise this winter. In retrospect I started making these what I feel to be almost beachy abstract painting when I first got home after my first trip to Playa.
