Hey!
I'm not a swimmer but I would like to do the underground river at Xcaret. I know they give you a float jacket. Is the water deep? Does anyone have a handle as to how safe it is with me being a non-swimmer? Thanks. |

Live vests are mandatory. If you are a panicky person, I would not advise you to do any type of avoidable floating.
Remember that proper breath control will allow you to relax and also control your bouyancy. There are floating lifeguards as well. I would classify the experience as completely non-demanding physically. The water temp is brisk. |
