I heard the best come-on line at a recent post-funeral reception. (Good way to deal with grief, I guess)
I was off by myself, fresh from the bar, and a guy sidled up to me and asked, "Now where do you suppose our loved ones have run off to?" And he met my eyes with an innocent smile dancing over his lips.
