Old messages

I have been away for over a week and was looking forward to catching up on this board. What happened to all the old messages? I did a search and nothing is there.
Also, when I first came on today, all the posts were easy to read. AFter about five minutes, when I hit the back button, it suddenly has dark text on a dark background which makes it almost impossible to read.

This is a new forum system running with a different database backend, so old messages from the old forum are not included. The old forum messages are intact and may be made available for future viewing, but this will involve some nifty scripting.

I was forced to update the forum after our server in the States had problems with CGI scripts. They are mirroring this site on a new server which should remedy the situation.

Let me know if you have further color problems. I thought I had fixed that. What color resolution are your running?
