Beach Barbeque's?

Myself and my Fiancee would like to get married in the mayan riviera area
in January 2005. We would like to either have an informal barbeque for our dinner or attend one offered by one of the resorts.

Does anyone know a resort that could accomodate us?
We would even be willing to attend a barbeque outside the resort if that was necessary.

I understand all the beaches are public but though it might still be possible?
