We are headed to Playa September 4th to stay at the Reef Club. Does anyone know where we could find some good open beach volleyball nearby? I know they have a net on the beach at the resort, but if there is no one playing or jungle players I will be dissappointed. jeangrady@yahoo.com

When we were there in June, there were some boys playing on the beach behind La Tarraya, which is located on 2nd, and the beach. It appeared to be open play but not as serious as what you might be looking for. It was more like serve, score, serve, score, serve, lose serve, drink, rotate.

I've stayed at the Reef Club, and I feel like they had at least one game a day. Also, a quick stroll down the beach in either direction is likely to produce a game.
