playacar phases

My husband and I are booked for the Fat Cat on August 28, and are supposed to meet at the Plaza Playacar, Phase II for transport. As virgins to Mexico in general, I would like to know how far this is from the Reef Club Playacar, where we are staying. I'm sure I'll have no problem, but I want to surprise my hubby with this excursion, and I sure don't want to get lost in the Playacar area. I wondered what the "phases" mean within Playacar also.

Playacar is a subdivision on the south side of the city of Playa del Carmen. Playacar was built in two phases. Phase I is mostly privite homes and condos Phase II is where the AI resorts are located. you should have no problem getting from you hotel to the plaza or getting lost in playacar

Plaza playacar is so close to the Reef club playacar...the best way to get there is take a taxi and just tell him that you want to go to plaza playacar... will be no more than 5 min.....good luck!

I'd say it's a 5-10 minute walk from Reef Club to Plaza Playacar, and a 1 or 2 minute taxi ride.
