That is exactly why I have chosen to stay at the GPR when I come to Playa at New Years for a couple of weeks. I figured it would be good to have the "safety net" of the AI on my first ever visit to Mexico/Playa, especially coupled with the fact I am coming on my own, but that it was so centrally located it would be an ideal spot to use as a "base" and still get out and about amongst it in the town. Which, I have to say, I am MORE THAN SURE I will be doing lots of since I am already starting to feel like a local through being with everyone on here! I was very nervous when I first made my booking, but reading everyone's trip reports and chatting to the good folk on here has been invaluable and in my head I feel I already live there, never mind am coming to visit!
