Well I felt that after this weekend I should post a note to thank
all the Forum Folks that we have come in contact with over the last year..... I Have to say Im sorry for those of you who did not make the meets and get togethers because you missed out!!!!! After this last get together here in Texas I am a amazed at how a group of people can get together for 36 hours and have a blast without any judging of one another...People with a single common dream...Playa Del Carmen... This website has introduced me to many people and I look forward to meeting more people soon!!!!! Some of the people I have met and look forward to the next time! James Anna Scott (sctx) Terri (LilG) Tyra (Tyramania) Dammit!! Bob (Bumper) Jackie Tammy (palmtree) DavidB. Anna Lynne (Shammy) Lonnie Jez. Bill (Xzlr8) Rick Steve (Ryberg) JimmyMn Rick (Babaloo) Stephanie (Mercado) Gilbert Lexi Walter James A. Julie Don noD (Ramal) Phil V. Rita (Seakony) Slim Slick Pete (not a forum member) but soon will be!! Angela Dl7005 and wife nadams and hubby Chuck Rose singer at the beer bucket Brent....friend of Chucks Grady...a legend Sharky...Beer Bucket Ron...Beer Bucket sunstarvedgirl (Sashita) And A few lurkers as well..... I have to admit it is a Blast to be able to meet people off the I-Net who would have ever thought it? You need to try and make a meet sometime...you will meet some of the coolest people in your life.. All Walks,shapes,sizes,colors and politcal beliefs(LilG) and no one will judge you(at least in person) and you will have a blast!...you may be a bit fuzzy the next day but it will be a life long memorie!! Well, sunseekers, I haven't met YOU yet but I certainly can agree to all you wrote. Without the playa.info-people my vacation in PDC would probably have been rather boring and then just going to dinner here in Germany with someone I met on a tour I took with Anna was something special too.... it adds to my life (not that I would miss much in it). I am just trying to say: it's just great...

What a sweet thread you started, Tommy!! Warm and fuzzy and very heartfelt. So sweet of you!!
Meeting Andiline, Rainman & Mo, and Cindyrella and Hubby this past May was a highlight of our trip. Being able to put the actual people together with the words you see here at the Forum is such a delight. Although our time together was short, it was FUN!! Alas, David and I will miss the Beach-O-Limp-XX next March (our plan is 2/26-3/5), it'll be super to be able to meet whoever is there while we are in town! Anyone in O-Limp-XX training mode during our week?? |

The plan is for 2 weeks in March for Donna's B-Day, PdCBO and "The Bumpers are Here Part 2"
to really be able to chill for awhile in Playa!! Not the rush in rush out deal.. If we can make it that long!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I will have to give up a vacation this year to be able to do the 2 weeks in March |

Tommy looking forward to meeting you also. Love reading all your reports, comments, ideas, replys, yada yada yada, you get the message.
We plan on being there also for the beach olympics. I can't possibly see why it shouldn't be a good time!! With great people, friends, drinks, and a whole lot of fun! If only March wasn't sooooo far away. See ya then. |

Bravo Tommy
My husband and I are just back from Playa and had the good fortune to spend some time with some great forum folks. Met up with local8 (Adam and Jen) and Doggums (Dean and Jodie) for drinks our first night there and then spent an afternoon on the Fat Cat together. Great, fun, laid back people who share a love/obsession with Playa. Got to have coffee with Anna, who is such a lovely person. We exchanged info and "equipment". I just wish I could have spent more time chatting with her. Next time for sure!!! By then, there will be a little one to meet too!!
We ended up spending a great deal of time hanging with Grady and Captain Dave. If it weren't for the forum, I probably would have never steered my way to Capt. Dave's on 10th and met so may fun (and helpful) people. Looking forward to our move in October!!! Looking forward to meeting more Play.Info peeps at the Beach-O-Limp_XX!!!  |
