I'm new to the forum, but not new to PLAYA. I have been coming down here for years and absolutely love it... so much -- in fact, I'm getting married down there next May 2008. I was hoping to hear from people who have had LIVE MUSIC at their wedding.
My fiance and I are getting married at AL CIELO and having our reception at KOOL.
I was wondering if anyone has any
good live music group/band suggestions for the RECEPTION?...My fiance and I really want to hire a Cuban Band that plays at La Bodeguita del Medio or something like that...We were hoping that this forum could help point us in the right direction with music in PLAYA, as we have been having a lot of trouble finding Cuban type music or the like for our reception. We also like Gypsy Kings, Buena Vista Social Club, Rodrigo y Gabriela, St.Germain, Thievery Corporation (hopefully, that gives you an idea of what we like)
Any information, names, websites would be helpful. I live in Los Angeles and would appreciate any info that anyone has in regard to
LIVE MUSIC.
