I can answer the "married in Playa" call!
I can't speak to the live music bit; we were our own DJ on the beach for our wedding. Might I suggest looking up a local wedding planner?? There are several that are based in Playa, and I'm sure they'd be willing to provide a list of available bands for hire. Our planner did everything for us, and she had a list of contacts for everything we were interested in. She was very knowledgable of the city, and was a pleasure to work with. I can commend your decision for getting married in Playa though. We have no regrets whatsoever for our decision to do so, and it gave not only us, but everyone in attendance a memory of a lifetime. You'll have a blast too!!
