We came back from Akumal today thinking we would hold our hunger pains so we could load up on a boat load of shrimp tacos at El Oasis upon our arrival back in Playa. You can imagine how distraught we were to see the remodel sign up! We all just walked around dumbfounded for about 10 minutes back to Royal Palms. I did some frantic searching on playa.info knowing I had better come up with a damn good alternative to help alleviate everyones' pain! Solution: a wonderful dinner at La Tarraya.

Thanks for posting more details Manitou. Sounds like good news for El Oasis... though perhaps not such good news for us... keeping my fingers crossed that the remodeling is complete by the holidays... but I definitely won't bet on it.
