Just wanted to thank you guys for all the info you've gathered up. This is by far the best and most informative site on the area and things to do. We are using your site to plan the majority of our trip.

One question I do have though, do you know where the best place to snorkel along the shoreline is? Or do you have to take a boat to all of them? We'll be staying at the Continental Plaza next month, is there any place close?

Your only close-by snorkeling option in town is Chunzumbul reef which is in front of Coco Beach, north of town beach. You can see the reef offshore.
