Having just finished mowing the front and back of my mother's yard, Avalon and I went in the house to fix a cabinet door. While I'm fixing the door, Avalon decides to explore in Mom's art studio. I come in a minute later and she covered in paint and so is the floor and everything around it. I gasp and put her in the tub. Hmmm, not coming off, Mom has stopped painting with watercolor and is now into oils. So I'm searching the house for something to take it off. Soap, no, hairspray, no, rubbing alchohol yes!! The floor and surroundings clean up with remarkable ease, Avalon however does not. I'm scrubbing her with an alchohol soaked paper towel and it's just smearing and the bathtub is coated. I get off as much as I can and take her out to start on the tub. The alchohol doesn't work on the tub, hmm, what else, vinegar, no, murphy's oil, no, some strange Mr. Clean like generic cleaner, yes! We're saved. I search for extra clothes and a diaper and find some two sizes too big, oh well it works. Due to the mixture of colors, Avalon's whole body and face look as though she's badly bruised, we skip the trip to Target. We stop at the garden to pick some tomatoes and I put my foot down about an inch away from one of the biggest spiders I've ever seen. I gasp again and shudder. Big green bugs are flying out of the tomato plants, some strange looking little green bug lands on my hand, and there is a black widow in the box where we keep the plastic bags. Organic gardening at it's best!! We head home, the angel sleeps. Ahhhh! And how was your day?

No as good as yours. So now you can't take Avalon anywhere for fear that someone will call child services. Did you finally get everything cleaned up?

And it might be time to invest in a lock for the air studio, or at least the supply cabinet

Tappy's right, it is quite humorous, it's my almost-ten year old's favorite show.

They all live in the underwater town called "Bikini Bottom", and his best friend is a sea star with the IQ of a sea cucumber. The show is so dumb it's funny.

She's all cleaned up now. Two neighbors asked me what happened to me, I was wearing dark sunglasses and apparently had some paint to the right of my eye which looked like a big bruise!
