It seems to me the new Sam's Club should be opening right about now in Playa, or so I've seen in other threads. We don't have Sam's Club in our part of the world, but I understand it's just Wal-Mart, isn't it? Anyway, with that in mind, I thought the following might give some folks with time on their hands while in PdC some ideas of ways to fill their hours.
Things To Do At Wal-Mart Are you bored when shopping? Here are some things to do at Wal-Mart while the wife / girlfriend / significant other is taking their own sweet time shopping for Christmas / Hanukkah / Easter / Mother’s Day..... 1. Get boxes of condoms and randomly put them in people’s carts when they’re not looking. 2. Set all the alarm clocks to go off at ten minute intervals. 3. Make a trail of orange juice on the floor to the rest room. 4. Walk up to an employee and tell him / her in an official tone, “I think we have a code 3 in housewares, “ and see what happens. 5. Tune all the radios to a polka station, then turn them all off, but preset the volumes to 10. 6. Challenge other customers to a sword fight with tubes of gift wrap. 7. Put M&M’s on layaway. 8. Move “Caution - Wet Floor” signs to carpeted areas. 9. Set up a tent in the camping department. Tell others they’re only we come to come in if they bring pillows from the bedding department. 10. When someone asks if they can help you, begin to cry and ask, “Why don’t you people just leave me alone?” 11. Look right into the security camera and use it like a mirror as you pick your nose. 12. Take up an entire aisle in the toy department by setting up a full scale battlefield with G.I. Joes and X-Men. 13. Ask other customers if they have any Grey Poupon. 14. While handling guns in the sporting goods department, ask the clerk if they know where the anti-depressants are. 15. Switch signs on the men’s and women’s bathrooms. 16. Dash around suspiciously while humming the theme to “Mission Impossible.” 17. Set up a “Valet Parking” sign out front. 18. Practice your Madonna look in the auto department by using different sized funnels. 19. Hide in a clothing rack and when people browse through, say, “Pick me! Pick me!” 20. When an announcement comes over the loudspeaker, assume the fetal position and whimper loudly, “NO! NO! It’s those voices again!!!” 21. Go to the food court, get a soft drink, tell them you don’t get out much and could they put one of those little umbrellas in it. 22. Go into a fitting room and yell real loud, “Hey, you’re out of toilet paper in here!”

Ha!
There are similar ones out there, such as things to do on an elevator and, my favorite, things to do in the public bathroom stall. One item on the latter list is to put some peanut butter on some bunched up toilet paper, throw it on the floor of the stall next to you and say, "Excuse me, would you mind kicking that over here for me?" ![]() |
