Premier Holiday Travel Membership

In Feb 2003, while in Playa del Carmen, we bought a vacation package at Hacienda Vista Real. We would like to book a vacation but all of the contact information we received in the package in no longer valid. Would someone have information on how to contact this group or have i been scammed?

Just go to the website vistareal dot com dot mx and you can contact them thru there. You have not been scammed.

Thanks for the reply. I have already contacted HVR and it looks like everything is ok and on the up and up.

Hi, did you get told to pay the assessment fee?

Yes, and after some time we finally paid it reluctantly, arguing that this is not what we had signed up for and that it should be taken care of by insurance. Their explanation was that the deductible was very high. We told them that it was unfair assessment and that people such as ourselves with a small amount of vacation points were paying the lions share of the payments.

We have not received any emails from them since, but it is my understanding that Playa Car was hit very hard by the last hurricane.

Did you pay your assessment?

No. And we are never going to.
